Summary

Previously Toyota Riken only contacted Toyota Riken Scholars and Specially Promoted Project Members in the beginning of the grand and the end of the fiscal year to receive the research results. Since those excellent young researchers and expert Toyota Riken Fellows did not have an opportunity to communicate each other, there was an opinion “Mottainai” – it is such a waste of opportunities. To overcome the situation, we held the first Interdisciplinary Exchange Camp.
After the camp, we received following comments. We believe the camp succeeded more than we had expected. It was also great opportunity for us to hear opinions from researchers about Toyota Riken Grand Programs directly. We would like to review the comments and reflect to our programs for the future.
