Report: The 11th TOYOTA RIKEN International Workshop
The Toyota Riken Workshop is organized by Toyota Riken Fellows for the purpose of contributing to the progress of specific research fields by providing an opportunity to discuss intensively.
The Workshop was held in the auditorium of the ES building of Nagoya University. This Workshop was aimed at sharing our recently elucidated high resolution structures of filamentous actin at actual atomic resolutions, and at discussing most advanced actin studies in cell biology, biochemistry, biophysics and structural biology. The oral and poster presentations were excellent, at the highest scientific qualities in this field of science. Many participants gave us feedback that, since the size of WS is adequate, and well planned, we were able to concentrate on the scientific discussions. It was excellent that during the three days period, we were able to discuss many times to each other.
