Toyota Riken Scholar

Program

It is a research grant program to support selected young faculties through recommendations of the universities, whose research subject match the aim of establishment of the institute.

Background

The program was originally started as the “Designated researcher program” in 1963 and 579 researchers in total conduct entrusted research during 47 years until 2009.
When the foundation became public incorporation in 2011, the program has reestablished as a grant program “Toyota Riken Scholar Program.”
